Privacy notice

How ObiKwaJobs handles your information, in plain language.

What we collect

When you apply: your name, phone number, email address, state and local government area (or that you live abroad) and the opportunity you're interested in. If you continue with Google, Google shares only your name and email address with us, and we never see your Google password. Later, if you choose to add them: your community or the country you live in, your state of origin and your answers about what you can do, want to do and what is stopping you.

Why we collect it

To understand the skills, plans and obstacles of Nigerians, community by community, so that policies and programmes can be built around real answers. We use your email to confirm your account and to sign you in.

Who sees it

Your details are used by ObiKwaJobs for the purposes above. Reports use totals by area, not named individuals. We don't sell your data.

How we protect it

Your data is encrypted in transit and stored on secured infrastructure. Access is limited to people who need it. We never ask for passwords: you sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email.

What applying means

Applying is free and voluntary. ObiKwaJobs records expressions of interest to inform future programmes. It is not an employment agency, and applying does not guarantee a job, loan, benefit or financial assistance.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
